-born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

-attended Nutana Collegiate, and the University of Saskatchewan

- worked as a journalist and news director from 1974 - 89 at CJGX Radio, Yorkton, SK, CKOV/CHIM-FM Radio, Kelowna, BC and CKKR Radio, Rosetown, SK

- wrote for various magazines in SK & BC

-returned to the U of S and received an Honours BA in Native Studies

-now lives in Estevan, Saskatchewan
